Trademonster Was Announced as the Fastest Growing Exporter of Deloitte 2019 Fast 50 Reginal Awards. On 25 September 2019, Deloitte announced Fast 50 Reginal Awards for those businesses that have made the Fast 50 and Masters of Growth indices. Trademonster won the Fastest Growing Exporter category in the Deloitte Fast 50 Regional Awards.
On September 6, 2019, Trademonster Director Gavin Yang was elected the Winner of EY Entrepreneur of the Year. 16 entrepreneurs across five categories from New Zealand were previously nominated and selected to be the finalist of EY Entrepreneur of the Year.
The Alibaba E-Commerce Expo is the group’s flagship event program in Australia and New Zealand, connecting local brands and small businesses to the growing market in China. The first Alibaba eCommerce Expo in New Zealand was successfully held on June 14th and 15th. Statistics showed the two-day Expo attracted more than 10,000 visitors.
Trademonster wins award for NZCTA China Business Awards (Best use of eCommerce in Exporting to China) On the 6th of June the Trademonster team attended the HSBC NZCTA China Business Awards ceremony where we were honoured to receive the Cathay Pacific Award for Best use of eCommerce in Exporting to China.

On April 18, 2019, the flagship store is a joint venture between Tmall Fresh and the New Zealand Food Basket Ltd., which comprises of 18 of the country’s most-reputable and beloved food and beverage brands. Trademonster is honoured to be launched in this project and assist the New Zealand brand to begin sales through their flagship store on Tmall Fresh, the grocery arm of Tmall, from mid-April.

In 2017, the total volume of cross-border e-commerce services of Trademonster was nearly 100 million yuan. The performance of cross-border e-commerce increased by 173% compared with 2016, accounting for 66% of the total business.

On November 7th, ICBC held a “Cross-border E-commerce and Financial Cooperation Forum” in Shanghai to help the success of CIIE. On the same day, more than 100 domestic and foreign enterprises attended the forum. Trademonster, HUI māori collective and ICBC signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote financial innovation and cross-border trade to better meet the needs of Chinese consumers.
